Question: Can Special Collections materials be checked out of the library?

Answer

Yes & No. If an item in the library catalog is listed as "available" then yes it can be checked out by students/faculty/staff or alumni with proper privileges. These materials are usually located in the West Virginia Collection or the Morrow Stacks. However archival and manuscript materials along with books from the Rosanna Blake, Hoffman, or Rare Books libraries must be used in our department and cannot be checked out.
