Question: Reserve items

Answer

Your professor will place items on reserve which you will access in one of two ways.

1. Physically from the Drinko Library circulation desk. (To place a hold, you will need to be registered for a "My Library" account.) Find the Reserve item you wish to borrow in the library catalog, and click the "Request" link to the left.

We also have a tutorial video for placing holds in the library catalog.

2. Electronically through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Submit an ILL request for only one chapter of the reserve item (per 24-hour period). It will be provided electronically. Fill out the ILL form for Book Chapters and make sure to include the textbook title, and inclusive pages/chapter. You will have access to the chapter you requested within 24 hours (Monday through Friday).

For a demonstration, see the tutorial video for requesting a reserve book using ILL.
